A B-day Tea Party

 

Well it was that time again where I got to plan another fun and exciting b-day party. This year I talked Caelan into having a Tea party, She was not to sure about it but the minute I told her she could dress up in my clothes she jumped on it!! Caelan loves to play dress up!! So after a lot of searching around for a tea set, I realized I had one of my G-mas old china sets that had a tea set included. We had so much fun as Caelan was helping to cut out our butterfly and flower sandwiches she told me how excited she was and what a" great idea you had mom "..We first decided you could not go to a tea party without the proper attire so we had everyone make their own tea hats and on their place mats were gloves and boas to complete their look!! to See the little girls sipping their tea(hot choclate) with their little gloves and hats on was adorable!!

Caelans birthday

I cannot believe my baby is 6yrs old!! Caelan is truly my saving Grace, after having two rowdy and should we say fun loving boys, Caelan is just what I need, I hate knowing that next year I will not have my littly buddy to go shopping with. Well Happy Birthday Caelan.

Valentines

This year for valentines we did not do much, I feel so bad I usually make sure the kids wake up to their rooms being heart attacked and we always make cookies and leave them on door steps, however I am becoming more and more of a slacker...really we were quite busy with basketball games and also finishing the basement. Caelan still wanted to do something for a few friends so we made a fun little monster valentine to pass out, they turned out very cute and it was so easy!! Later that night the kids got a knock on the door with three heart shaped boxes withs some fun "valentine Coupons"..They actually said it was better than any store bought gift, so being the slacker I was this year still paid off!!

Family Ski trip

We took the whole family up to the ski resort and had an absoulute blast!! It was Me and Caelans first time skiing and snowboarding. Caelan did awesome,She picked up the skiing thing really well, although when her dad took her up on the lift and down the big hill she was a little hesitant. The boys think they are just pros at snowboarding and so they go off and do their thing! It was my first time ever up on the hill and I tried snowboarding and well lets just say I spent alot of time on my backside!! I will however try it again!!

Snowboarding fun

 

 

 

 

After trying out snowboarding on a local hill, the boys loved it and decided they wanted to go to a real resort...So we took them and now they know what they want to buy with their money. We all had a really fun trip and next time we go I am going to sign lil caelan up for lessons along with mom and try it out ourselves!!

My good friend Sara@ getznelson.com tagged me and If you go to her blog, her addictions are pretty close to what I would say mine are!!
1. I would have to say I am absolutely addicted to Choclate..If for some crazy reason I cant find any Choclate candy in my house I will just go to the pantry and eat a handful of Choc. Chips. This I know is probally why I am not as thin as I use to be..I honestly can go with out b-fast or lunch and just snack on somekind of choc and I am good. I look forward to desert, Its a joke with a few people that they know the minute we get to a restaraunt I am first looking for whats on the desert menu and making sure that I make enough room to have some after dinner.
2. I also would have to admit that I have to fall asleep on the couch, In the evening after kids are put to bed and Scotts doing what ever he is doing ,I look so forward to laying on the couch, sometimes with my nightly bowl of icecream, and watch tv untill Scott wakes me up and says to go to bed. I have gotten myself into a bad habit of not just going to bed to fall asleep.
3. One thing I should probally be embarassed to admit, but I am a Reality Tv junkie!! in my defense I wait till my kids are either in bed or not in the house when I watch my shows, however I will watch almost any reallity show. I definetly have my favorits that I will not miss like Big Brother, and The Hills!! Silly I know but I love love love it!!!
4. I Love to be hot, I have to sleep with many blankets, even in the summer I have a big blanket wrapped around me. Scott gets so hot so easily it is quite the argument between us. I love having my fireplace on and would keep it on all day if Scott would allow.
5. My last and final addiction would be that I can not do anything before my bed is made in the morning, I lied I will at least put my contacts in but I really cannot stand not to immediatley make my bed in the morning. If it is not done I feel very closterphobic and feel like I wont be able to get anything else accomplished. Weird I know!!

Bingham Christmas Party

 

Every Year we get together for the Bingham family Party. This time always brings back the fun memories when we were little, and going to the Bingham family party. We would love to exchange gifts with our cousins and plan little skits to perform for everyone. I am so glad my Grandpa is still here to continue on with these parties and make even more special memories now with My children.

Family X-mas Party

The annual Family X-mas party, We gave Mom and Dad a 50' plasma tv..They were so excited but when my mom said that was way too much we had to tell them it was either that or glasses cause their 27' TV of 30 years was just not cutting it!! Sue and Brett came up this year, so as always when you get the Arbon Clan together it makes a Full house!!

As Wyatt was getting ready for church he looked out his window and saw what he thinks to be elf tracks!! I told him I hope you were being good last night cause Santas elfs are always watching!!

Beau is finally here

Well nine years have passed and Steph decided to have another little one, Are you crazy?? J/K He is adorable and I still cant believe both my sisters had another one and I did'nt, we always had our babies close to the same time.

Scotts Craft Corner

Okay, So Scott took the day off of work today and I ended up getting asked to work most of the day. Well most men on their day off want to do nothing but sit around and watch TV...Scott on the other hand decided to make a one of a kind "Scott Original", I know that may surprise alot of you, He and Caelan went to Walmart and got no sew glue tape and a blank Blue T-shirt. In anticipation for the huge game on sat, BYU vs. UTAH, he decided he wanted to wear a original. I got home to a huge mess and thought to myself, my husband who is as manly as they get wont even go shopping w/me for anything is in the kitchen making a home made T-shirt...Weird!! Well here is the finished project...Go BYU

Reflections 08

Riley won 1st place at our schools Reflection contest....Way to go Riley!! He made a music video with his dad and brother Titled noise from the basement, which is exactly what it is. We now get to enter the District level on Jan 8th. The Theme this year was WOW

Pinewood Derby ' 08

 

This was our first Pinewood Derby. Scott and the boys worked REALLY hard on their cars. Wyatt chose to shape his into a 32 Ford and Riley chose to make his look like a Lambrogini. Even though their cars were cool the race...not so much. Wyatts car did not even fit on the track so Scott had to take him home and finnagle the wheels so he could still race. The races got started as soon as Scott got back, Well Rileys car took dead last in fact on his last race his tires come flinging off. He won the "Drive off the wheels" award. Wyatts car took 3rd to last and he won the "best Classic car award". Although we had lots of laughs that evening we will definetly try to do better next year, Maybe I should be the one in charge of making the cars!!! J/k

Who knew a box could have so many uses!

Riley took the left over box and made a chair, what a creative mind!

Wyatt and Caelan worked and worked untill they made the perfect house.

Game Time

 

 

Riley invited some friends to go the BYU game!! It was Scotts B-day but being the selfless man he is he let Riley invite a few friends so Scott had his hands full. Riley and Wyatt on the other hand had a blast being with their buddies
